Keyword Stuffing
Are You Keyword Stuffing?
I have been around the block with this stuff, I had my days of running pcs 24/7 to do nothing but build sites and blogs full of crap just to earn a buck. I have stuffed with the best of them , and done it in 2 languages!
So this is not some self righteous post this is me sharing something I have noticed with you and hoping that if you recognize the problem you will do something about it.
Keyword stuffing is not when you put 3 variants of your keyword in the title. As you will see in the video it is all to easy to get in far deeper than that!
It is easy to fall into this stuff, having keywords is good so having more is better right..
Not always!
As always feel free to agree, disagree or share your experiences and thoughts..

Paul,
As usual this is wonderful stuff. Recently, I have really started focusing on quality and doing more of what Google wants more than anything else, and my income has gone up… a lot. I will be sure to keep these things in mind as well. Thanks as usual.
Heather
Great information, as always, Paul. Everyone should take the time to look at what they have on their sites. Like Heather said, I’ve been changing things up on my sites and doing more of what Google is looking for also, and I, too, have seen sales go up.
Thank you for all your valuable information.

Paul,
This video was quite an eye opener for me. I am always careful about using my keywords in my articles, but it never dawned on me that the posts, categories and tags could also contribute to keyword stuffing. Good Stuff! Thanks.

Thanks for this video Paul . It was my site i asked Paul to look at which he talks about in the video.
I went a little crazy with tag cloud and related post plugins and within A DAY my site just completely disappeared from google. I removed the plugins (after 3 months) and within a day my traffic started to creep up. I also did some quality links from Hubpages and Postrunner, made some Youtube videos too.
I used to get literally 50 emails a day from the rank tracker plugin updating me on ranking updates and they completely stopped.
As soon as i made the changes, traffic started to creep up. I’m now back on google in the original places i was and even better in some cases. In May my traffic was at 12000 per month but by August had fallen to 2000 which only came from yahoo, bing and articles. For September so far i’m on 25000 visitors though many of these extra visits are due to seasonal factors i’m putting this mainly down to Pauls advice.
With that kind of traffic Adsense and Amazon have been amazing for me. Thanks again Paul for the time you took to look at my blog.
Thank you for clarifying keyword stuffing. I had a pretty good idea, but your explanation helped a lot, especially regarding tag clouds (I removed it from my site a while ago – adding it back now!) and other pointers. Really appreciate the time you take to explain these topics.
