Review of Postrunner BMR and Ezarticle Links- Part One
Ok before we start let me make a few things clear, 1- the links you see are possibly affiliate links so if you buy from them I may well make some extra pennies towards paying the bills. 2-the stuff I talk about here is me trying to share some logic and thought to what is a darn annoying and confusing situation..Links
ok on with the good stuff.
I often get asked about various programs, I see posts on forums with questions and suggestions. This post is my first one about 3 programs that I actually use and pay for every month.
Postrunner – $33 and 1st month is free. This is part of the Keyword Avalanche membership
Build My Rank – $59 a month
Ezarticle Links – Free or $29 a month
They are all about building links and they all have great points and they all have bad points I will try and talk about both sides of the coin. I am talking from my own experience and my own thoughts. No one has paid me to be nice or otherwise. My honest hope is that it helps some people make the right choices and to save some money , or at least spend it wisely.
Postrunner – this is a formalized guest blogging system, only open to members of the keyword avalanche
Plus Points – it is very easy to use , offers massive link diversity, only accepts unique content so it is not full of rubbish. You are allowed 2 links per article
Minus points – to get link diversity you have to add lots of content, which is work.
Personal finding – In my totally informal observations, the sites that I have put lots of links from Postrunner in have held their rankings and are moving on up. I will use one article to build links to 2 totally separate sites. This is a great way to get 2 backlinks for the prince of one article.
Ezarticle Links – Article distribution across a network of their own article sites, if you join you have to allow them to put an article directory on the back end of one of your sites. If you add 20 sites into their system then you can have unlimited sites as post only. This means that you can promote unlimited sites without adding any more directories.
I have written about them before http://www.thenewbiehelper.com/link-questions/ and http://www.thenewbiehelper.com/ezarticlelink-update/ The most amazing thing is that I am still using them 11 months later and I can’t see me stopping as they are still delivering the goods.
Plus points – free level makes it easy to start using, easy to use once you get used to, cheap way to spin your content
Minus points – people seem to find it difficult to understand the concept so they hold back, Spinning can take some time when they are busy
I take the articles I have put into postrunner, then put them into ezal, pay them $3 to spin the article and then use that article in UAW. Although I am about to start using it in Article Marketing Robot as well as I hear you can just copy and paste the spun versions from ezal
Build My Rank – Build My Rank is the subject of a test at the moment, in theory it should work great guns but I just want to get a real example. I am doing nothing but BMR posts for a new site. I have lined up 40+ and will see how they go. I will post any results I see , or not see.
Plus points – only needs to be 150 word posts (so easy), each site has PR, very simple to use interface, well put together posting system
Minus points -I can’t really think of one other than price, I think it is expensive now but it if it works then it is worth every penny
My wife really likes BMR, mainly because she can vent in a blog post and it is still work. Their system really is one of the easiest I have ever used and that alone makes it nice. All too often I find I don’t build links because I can’t face fighting with the system, this is not the case with BMR.
If you are watching the pennies – Sign up for the free version of ezal and the free months trial of postrunner. Then work the system hard, if you concentrate on building links for just a couple of sites for that first month you should see some increase in income and that will hopefully persuade you to keep on using them. The secret in that sentence, “using them” if you do not post articles then you won’t get links and no links = no traffic.
These are the three things I am using daily, I actually just posted 10 new posts to BMR before I did this blog post, so you should at least check them out.
Oh and tomorrows post is all about a huge mistake I made with my last test and how you can avoid it, just going to write that now so be sure to come back and read that tomorrow.

Look like Article Marketing Robot spins your articles in any case, so why use Ezarticle Links. This would save the monthly fee here. How would you rate Jon Leger “The Best Spinner” as opposed to Article Marketing Robot as a spinner tool. Regardless of the fact that Article Marketing Robot posts to the directories and The Best Spinner doesn’t.
I use ezarticle links for the links, the spinning is just a bonus, they spin it for me and it is a human who does it which (usually) works out better than purely machine spins.
It is also free to join, so if you want to do the spins yourself then you can get a couple of hundred extra links for no cost.
I have never used the best spinner so i can’t comment on that one.
I use UAW, BMR, NPP (Niche Press Platinum), SUN (SEO Ultimate Network), AMR and rank builder (and SENUKE every once a while). I make sure at least 1 URL links to a blog of mine so that I can collect the trackback. Then I feed the trackbacks of different sites to other ‘pumper blogs’ of mine that have indexing tool installed.
I only started using the indexing tool like a week ago, so have to wait and see.
Oh and where do I get all the content from? USAs from theleadingarticles.com
And I want to try and feed the feed from the trackbackfeed plugin to BLE also. I forgot TrafficMystic’s free indexing tool that you can get if you are a warrior pro member. Don’t know if it helps, but I run all these 100s of links generated daily through that as well.
I believe this is a killer plan that I wrote here for any one wanting to build links and get them indexed.
One last thing, I get posts for BMR written for 50 cents from Odesk
Wow Chanaka
You work much harder than I do! I have tried NPP and didnt really like the constant changes and upgrades which seemed to stop the system, dont know SUN but I shall go look at it and see what is what. http://www.seoultimatenet.com/ If you feel like sharing more info about how that is working for you then feel free.
It is a lot of link building you are doing there, that is for sure.
Thanks for coming along and sharing
Paul
Yes that’s the correct address for SUN. I got it through a WSO for just $15/month. I use it as a Tier 2 (to backlink those backlinks to my money sites). Don’t really know if it’s effective or not. What I like about them is that you can export the URLs (303 per article) and do whatever you want with them.
Paul, do you know if a plugin of this nature exists or if you can make one?
You feed 1000s of URLs to the plugin and it makes 1 RSS feed combining 20 URLs. Places like hostmyRSS and icerocket does this, but then there is a lot of manual work involved. If this plugin can also process trackback feeds from your trackback feed plugin, that would also be great!
Thanks!
Thanks Paul for providing these unknown resources. Seeing that Google values these votes and link love, we need to continually build links with any service we can find. BMR sounds terrific. I also use http://www.imautomator.com which has a free-entry level for social bookmarking. RSS is a good direction, too.
Hi Geoff
I think you need to get a mixture of links, some social bookmarking with social adr and imautomator, as well as high quality article links from postrunner and EZAL plus a multitude of blog posts from BMR. Not all sites will need them all of course, no point in over linking . As I once said Links are like Booze, you need enough to get the job done but too much is pointless.
Thanks for commenting
Paul
I’ve yet to hear a bad word about BMR, i’ve been using it for about 4 months now and have seen some great results!
The only bad thing i can think of about BMR is that not all the articles get indexed, or rather they do but then fall off later on! The system at BMR has no way you can find out where your articles are posted unless they are indexed.
If they showed the urls of all posted articles then we could bookmark and ping those articles that are struggling to get indexed. However i’m finding that 3 months after my articles have been posted around 75% of them are still indexed in google.
Great article.
Hi Damian
When I find a post of mine that is indexed I also put it through some bookmarks. I do agree that being able to see them all would be nice but the guys at BMR seem to think it would put their network at risk.
Thanks for the kind words
paul
Hey Paul, its been a while! I heard Mark Thompson’s interview with Lisa Parmley this morning – good stuff!
Regards to Postrunner – I used it for a brief time until I left Court’s Keyword Academy (oh – about 18 months ago now – when Postrunner was new) and I had all my articles rejected. No idea why that was – its a long while back now, so probably I was making some errors along the way.
Eza I have never used and that sounds interesting.
BMR – I’m not too fond of the pricing structure now, but fact is – as Damian says, its a top notch service. I actually dropped it after using it for about 4 months in the run up to Christmas. I outsourced almost all of the writing and basically went about re-ranking webpages that are a year or more old – on the whole. I was very happy with the results, and even on some new domains that are not too high in competition, merely using BMR alone worked pretty well to help push up new webpage rankings.
The downside is the new pricing structure if you have quite a few domains you want to link to, and the fact is that they do not accept spun content so its very labour-intensive, unless you outsource, but that can become very expensive month on month. Good return on investment? If you know what you are doing with regards to which kwds phrases to target, this can be a super return on investment imho.
Thanks for sharing Paul!
Regards
Joseph
Hi Joseph
thanks for popping along, nice to see you are still doing well (i just read some of your blog) .
Postrunner does require unique content that is good quality. They are doing a 30 day free trial at the moment so nothing to risk by trying it again if you are looking for something new.
BMR – yes the new pricing can seem expensive, but if it works then it is worth every penny. No one has yet told me that it doesn’t work so it is a good investment. You can rotate the sites in and out , so just buy into the 5 pack and promote those 5 for a month, then change it out. I think your comment about kwds is right on the money, not just for BMR but for any linking service. That is the usual problem people want to rank for “credit card” in a week with no work.
EZAL – I like this service a lot. Even if you only go for the free version of it you can get something between 100-200 links, you can cycle in your content from postrunner (or other places) and use it there. They have a built in spinning program which is pretty darned good as well. If you use UAW you could use the content you have spun for there in ezal , or vice versa.
Read my posts on ezal and you will get a idea of how it works if you are unsure.
I am going to do a post all about outsourcing as I think it can easily get out of hand. People actually over outsource (if that makes sense) quite often.
Paul
I am a member of TKA and have been using Postrunner. I have seen good results so far. I havent tried the rest as yet. I have looked at EZAL not sure I am ready to tackle it as yet, but will be giving it a try soon.
Thanks Paul for the information.
Ingrid
Hi Ingrid
I think ezal is a perfect match with postrunner as you can use the articles that you used there to put into ezal. Just go for the free level to start with and see how you like it.
Thanks for stopping by
Paul
Paul, thanks for sharing all you know and use – I really appreciate all you’ve done for us – videos etc. I enjoy reading everything you post.
I really like Ezarticle Links – best feature is the indexing of your backlink posts. I will try out your suggestions on its use.
BTW I use Spinner Chief to spin – its free right now and it makes The Best Spinner look like the worst spinner …lol
Hi Tom
glad you like it. I am trying to increase my blog post regularity, we will see how long it lasts.
Link to spinner chief that you mentioned. I have never tried it so i am not passing comment just sharing the link.
Paul
I’ve tried Spinner Chief and have to say IMO it doesn’t hold a candle to the TBS especially the free version. IMO there are a ot of other free spinners that deliver a better product than Spinner Chief.
Paul,
As always a big thank you for all the help you furnish. You are at the top of my “Good Guys List”,
despite the Limmey accent and all the tea drinking.
Like any tool different people will have different likes and dislikes. If everyone always agreed on this stuff it would be a boring world!
