Adding Links Into A Header Widget
When I am doing my one on one coaching with people we cover just about anything they ask, since most of my clients are relatively new this often includes a simple theme to get them started.
I ahve been recommending that they use sem-reloaded but it appears that in the latest update to wordpress the header widgets stopped working so people havent been able to add links to their pages in the header.
I decided to do a video showing a workaround for everyone who is interested. Now this workaround will work with ANY THEME that has a header widget enabled area. You could also do the same in a footer widget.
In the video I mention some code, which is shown below, just copy and paste it into a notepad document and keep it on your desktop.
Please watch the video a couple of times and then if something still isnt clear feel free to ask me.
Please also feel free to browse the links on the left or right and buy anything you like!
<a href=”http://www.YourDomainName.com/page-name“>Keyword One</a> | <a href=”http://www.YourDomainName.com/page-name2“>Keyword Two</a> | <a href=”http://www.YourDomainName.com/page-name3“>Keyword Three</a> | <a href=”http://www.YourDomainName.com/page-name4“>Keyword Four</a>
Hope this all helps!
