I need it to be perfect..

No you don’t.. I had someone ask me if I did questionnaires and planning before I do a podcast. No I wing them generally, I do go and look at peoples sites and talk to them time managementbriefly before we record but no indepth analysis. If I started doing that we would never get the call done, as it is I sometimes have to fit them in around complex schedules.

I figure that the worst podcast will be better than no podcast at all and if I do not take action when I have the chance it will never happen.

I spoke to my friend Rob Doyle about taking action, even if it is not perfect. He is very short on time (full time job and being a family man will reduce your work hours dramatically) and that sometimes makes him feel like he doesnt have time to do anything.

Read his blog post all about taking Imperfect Action - http://robdoyleblog.com/succeed-by-taking-imperfect-action/

Taking action is the biggest thing, it really is. However taking action consistently on ONE THING will get you even better results. So for example, if you only have 30 mins a day spend the whole week on one thing.  30 mins a day for 5 days will get you a lot further along with a website, a product or building a list than if you spend 30 mins on one thing, then the next day you move to something else then the day after that you move onto yet something else.

Pick a project – Work it Consistently

This is one of the hardest things to do as there are always new things to look at , always new blog posts to read, new sales pages to read.

Learn To Say No to the interruptions, file them away for a later day

Your project will only move on if you make it happen, you control how your time is spent so spend it wisely
